Despite a pandemic and global strikes, 344 Audio continues to thrive.

Between 2020 and 2023, the film industry faced its most challenging years in history. Both the COVID-19 pandemic and the WGA strikes caused major productions to shut down, leaving thousands without jobs.

Recognising that strategic changes would be necessary, 344 Audio brought us on board to help navigate this difficult period. We turned the chaos into opportunity, increasing revenue by 150% and making them the leading UK audio brand.

A new brand identity.

With the 344 Audio team now clear on their new strategy, they needed to update their visual identity to match.

The focus of our design work was to emphasise heritage, creating a strong, grandfatherly feel. The client's headquarters is in Manchester, the home of the Industrial Revolution, so this became the running theme throughout the brand identity.

344 Audio's previous identity was outdated, failing to communicate their extensive skill and experience. The updated designs helped to communicate all of the characteristics we fleshed our during the strategy sessions, making the brand look and feel more like an industry leader.

Launching a 6-figure service.

Before engaging Ventur, 344 Audio was known primarily for its post-production services. We had to keep this in mind before launching its educational courses, being very intentional with how we went about the repositioning process. Our main goals were:

  • To conduct thorough research on their ideal customer

344 Audio have since become the go-to independent brand for audio post-production courses. They attract students from around the world as well as top teachers such as Pete Burgis (awarding-winning foley artist known for Harry Potter, Casino Royale, and Slumdog Millionaire).
